PRESS RELEASE: Waterloo Jr. Hawks 10U A Wins Youth Cowbell Cup

    December 13, 2019

On November 23 the Jr. Hawks solidified their Cowbell Championship for the 10u1 Division with a decisive victory over the Jr. RoughRiders by a score of 9-0 and another 9-0 win earlier that morning verse the Jr. Saints of Dubuque. Overall, the Jr. Hawks had a record of 5-0-1 (11 pts). Their stingy defense and goaltending only gave up 6 GA while scoring 50 GF over the 6-game series.

Coach Travis Jones had this to say about his team’s efforts, “The boys worked hard and put in the effort every game to win the first ever Youth Cowbell Cup.  They worked together as a team and got the results they wanted.  Congratulations Boys!!!  A big ‘Thank You’ to all associations involved to make the first Youth Cowbell Cup a success.”
