Waterloo forward Ben Sinnott netted four goals and one assist Friday at Young Arena in a 7-2 win over the Des Moines Oak Leafs. His fourth goal, at 7:04 of the third, raised his season total to 53, surpassing the League’s single-season goal-scoring record of 52, set by Des Moines Oak Leafs Joseph Harcharik during the 2005-06 season. Sinnott’s current point total is 53 goals and 36 assists with four games remaining. Sinnott is a junior at Waterloo Columbus Catholic.
